FRAC and RVAC

Formulated in the same fashion as MAC, the
Frequency Response Assurance Criteria (FRAC), is a degree of
freedom correlation tools that provides a measure of the
similarity between an analytical and experimental frequency
response function. The technique allows for some stiffness
compensation for shifted frequencies but can produce confusing results when mode switching occurs in modes; damping applied for
the finite element model is also a concern.

Formulated in the same fashion as MAC, the
Response Vector Assurance Criteria (RVAC), is a vector
correlation tools that provides a measure of the similarity
between an analytical and experimental vector at a particular
frequency. This technique is useful for identifying the
similarity between and analytical and experimental response
vector at a particular frequency.
