Chris Niezrecki received his Ph.D. from Virginia Polytechnic Institute & State University in 1999. His areas of research include Vibrations, Acoustics, Intelligent Materials, and Controls. While at the University of Florida, Chris served as the director of the Smart Structures and Acoustics Laboratory (SSAL). The mission of the Smart Structures and Acoustic Laboratory  is to conduct research and promote education in the areas of Vibrations, Acoustics, Intelligent Material Systems, and Controls.
